Yesterday I happened... remember a song so lovely I cannot for the life of me figure out how I had ever forgotten it.

Widen your circle of friends and allow more joy into your life through books, movies, art, sports, food, wine. Step outside your little world, there is a lot to see.

My favorite author: Dean Koontz. Yours?

  1. I use to like Cat Stevens but when he was very public and outspoken that Salman Rushdie the author should be killed for writing a fiction book about Islam called the Satanic Verses I stopped listening to him. I even sold my old Cat Stevens albums, (remember what those were)at a garage sale.

If writing something negative about someone or a religon should elicit the death penalty we are in a screwed up world. It is sad people actually live in that world.

  2. Forget the artist, -- Listen to the words -- enjoy the video. Thanks for a beautiful start to a new day.
    Love ya,
    Memaw & himtoo

  3. Agreed, fanaticism never benefits anyone. It simply clouds our minds and judgment, very sad indeed. Too bad, though, I used to enjoy his music.

  4. Hey Bev....just FYI, and unrelated to your post, we completed our NYC move yesterday. I'll still drop by the bar when I can.
